In the last months of life, Dario was quite overwhelmed, I would say, by his adventure with the author of the theory of evolution. From morning till night, he would dedicate his time to listening to his assistants – Jacopo, Luca and Margherita – who read books to him and wrote down the story that bit by bit he was putting together.
